Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training or certificate in welding.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, MIG, TIG, stick welding).
- Knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Previous experience as a welder.
- Internships, apprenticeships, or on-the-job training can be beneficial.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Precision and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
